What is Killzone?

A specific time window where high-probability setups concentrate — e.g., the New York open 60–90 minutes.

The DefinitionKillzone, defined

A Killzone is a defined time window during which the probability of significant price movement is statistically elevated. The major killzones: London Open (2:00–5:00 AM ET), New York Open (7:00–10:00 AM ET), London Close (10:00 AM–12:00 PM ET), and the PM session (1:30–4:00 PM ET). Within the LA Traders framework, the primary killzone is the New York morning: 6:30–10:00 AM PT, with the first 90 minutes carrying the highest density of A+ setups.

Why It MattersWhy Killzone matters

Time is a filter like price is a filter. A setup at 6:45 AM inside the killzone is worth twice the identical setup at noon.

Same sweep-and-retrace pattern: at 6:50 AM it's an A+ short. At 12:30 PM it's lunch chop. The killzone is the difference.
